A pilot project of the National Board accredits Lady Willingdon Hospital to start a post graduate training track in Rural Surgery
Diplomate of the National Board in Rural Surgery will be a new post graduate programme initiated by the National Board. Five hospitals in India have been accredited to start this so far. Manali is one of them. The course starts 2008 January. However much need to be done before then. Any graduate in MBBS is elegible to apply provided they are interested in working in a rural set up.
